Our History

One of the first locally owned independent insurance brokers in Nigeria’s history. Ark has transitioned from a domestic insurance brokerage firm, to a globally recognized organization specializing in insurance, reinsurance and risk advisory.

The firm is fully licensed by the National Insurance Commission and a member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers.

Ark has a long history of enabling clients avoid, control, mitigate and transfer risks. Leveraging on our investment in our human capital, deep client relationship, Insuretech investment, and market leading innovations.

Currently we employ over 75 professionals, manage over USD180m premium annually, and deploy Nigeria’s only broker platform for customers (www.arkonline.ng)

Our company has its headquarters in Lagos (Nigeria) with 3 branch offices in Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Accra (Ghana). Across geographies, industries and specialisms, ARK provides its local and multinational clients with intellectual resilience against risk.

Our Clients

Our corporate client base is spread across all industry sectors. The major ones are infrastructure, manufacturing, oil and gas operations, petrochemicals, power production and distribution, agri-business, hospitality, logistics and financial institutions.

A number of our clients have multinational parents and Ark offers the benefits of a strong understanding of the local market combined with global insurance standards. This allows us to compliment the risk management teams of our clients and satisfy both local and international stakeholders.
